3 Week Snowboard Improvement Course

Overview

The 3 week snowboard improvement course is a snowboard holiday with a difference. It is designed for riders who really do want to step up the level of their snowboarding. Instead of spending days trying to figure out the best places to ride and searching in vain for powder, you will be led by expert pros and guides to the best that Whistler has to offer and be taught how to ride with confidence on all terrain - from freestyle, high speed cruising to big mountain descents.

The Training

The instruction you receive comes from some of Whistler's most experienced snowboard pros and their enthusiasm and knowledge will revolutionise your riding. Over the 3 weeks, the instructors will improve your all mountain freeriding, technique on more technical descents and freestyle skills too.

The ACMG/IFMGA guides or Canadian Avalanche Association Instructors will lead the Avalanche Skills Training Course. This course module really do open up a new world to snowboarders, arming you with the knowledge and skills so that you can begin to fully enjoy the backcounty experience.

For those interested in freestyle, it will come as no surprise that Whistler and Blackcomb are home to arguably the best freestyle parks and pipes in the world. Combine this with the natural hits all over the mountain and Whistler becomes a jibber's dream.

Course Meals

Delicious & nutritious dinner is essential when you’re snowboarding hard. Meals on the ALLTRACKS course are sociable occasions where you catch up with others from the course and regale each other with the day’s powder tales.

Off Slope Activities

We want the time you spend off the slopes to be as much fun as the time when you’re on the snow. Our course manager, available 24/7, is on hand to organise whatever you wish and will put together activities each week. You’re welcome to take part in everything, or if you want to do things independently, that is obviously fine too. Whistler is not just a seasonal resort, but an energetic, welcoming and vibrant year round community and therefore has loads going on. From Canada’s best apres ski, concerts, film festival and other cultural events.
