THE TERRAIN
Like Whistler, Revelstoke is one of the only Canadian resorts that offers big mountain terrain. From the 2008/09 season, it will have North America's largest vertical drop (over 6000 feet) and in terms of area, it is already challenging the major ski destinations in Canada.
Located just over 3 miles from Revelstoke town, the skiing on Mount Mackenzie offers not only world class lift served skiing and snowboarding, but combines this with heli and cat skiing operations too.
As part of your ski or snowboard course, you will enjoy a day's cat skiing through untouched powder as well as an awesome overnight backcountry ski or snowboard tour through some of Canada's most inspiring mountainous terrain.
The upper part of the mountain offers steep chutes, wide open powder bowls and endless opportunites for motivated riders. Lower down, the skiiing is world class too, with old growth tree runs and groomed trails suitable for all abilities.

THE SNOW
The snowfall at Revelstoke is really what sets it apart. It benefits from some of the driest powder snow on the continent and receives so much of it that powder days come round just about as often as you could want.
Revelstoke is situated in the interior of British Columbia, Canada nestled between the Selkirk and Monashee Mountains. It's enviable location means that the snow arrives dry and light and perfect for honing those powder skills.
Before the Mountain Resort was built, Revelstoke hosted some of the best know heli ski operations in the world - testimony to the quality of the terrain and snowfall of the area. With the new lift system in place, you will be riding lines you have only dreamed about.
