Whistler is a welcoming resort with charm and. The fact that the village is right at the base of the hills as opposed to a long bus ride home, really helps create a fantastic ski resort atmosphere.
Whistler Village is the ideal place to live whilst doing a ski or snowboard course. It has a vibrant and energetic community that attracts people from all over the world who come searching for the ultimate mountain lifestyle. Some resorts can become a little claustrophobic during an extended stay, but the great thing about Whistler is that it is a proper, year round community with so much going on in addition to the awesome skiing & snowboarding.
From film and photography festivals, concerts, visiting DJs, great clubs and bars, excellent gyms and climbing centre, watching ice hockey in Whistler and Vancouver, lovely independent cafes and restaurants, wildlife viewing – there is always something going on.
The ALLTRACKS Academy team organise activities every week. People are free to do everything if they wish but if you want to do experience Whistler independently then obviously you are welcome to do that too.
