RED MOUNTAIN FAQS.

WHAT'S RED MOUNTAIN LIKE?

SKIING & SNOWBOARDING AT RED

Red Mountain is an incredible ski & snowboard resort. It is a place of real charm and character and once people ride there, they rarely want to go anywhere else. As Western Canada's oldest ski resort, Red and the nearby town of Rossland have developed over time and with great care in order to avoid the unsightly problems associated with rapid growth.

Located in the interior of British Columbia, Red benefits from very reliable snowfall and the snow arrives dry & light. The terrain at Red is interesting and varied, although much of it is fairly challenging and therefore we highly recommend this resort for skiers & snowboarders who are advanced intermediate or better. If you are unsure about the required ability to complete the course, please contact one of the Alltracks team to discuss.

COMMUNITY AT RED

One of the real benefits of the ALLTRACKS instructor course at Red is the warm and welcoming community and you will receive a sincere welcome from both locals and newcomers alike. As a fairly small resort, you will get to know everyone, and really be made to feel at home in this beautiful part of Canada. Although Red cannot claim to have any flashy nighclubs, apres ski at Rafters is always a good crack and nights out in Rossland are as much fun as anywhere!

ACCOMMODATION AT RED

The ALLTRACKS accommodation at Red is awesome. During your instructor course you will stay in very comfortable, virtually ski in/ ski out chalets and condos. All our places at Red benefit from wireless internet & hot tubs. Check out Red Mountain Accommodation for more details.
