WHAT'S REVELSTOKE SKI RESORT LIKE?

Revelstoke Mountain Resort is, without doubt, the most exciting ski & snowboard resort development in decades. Before December 2007, there was no resort to speak of and the area hosted Cat and Heli Ski operations. The new owners have assembled a first class team of mountain professionals and we are confident that soon Revelstoke will  be the place all skiers and snowboarders in the know will want to get to. It is such an awesome opportuntiy to be on of the first to ride this amazing mountain. It combines huge terrain including the biggest vertical drop in North America, with incredble snowfall of 40 - 60 feet annually. A lot of the skiing is pretty steep but there is plenty of more intermediate terrain in order to concentrate on technical progression. The powder snow is as good as it gets and if you want to ride the deep stuff, this is the place to head.

WHAT'S REVELSTOKE TOWN LIKE?

Revelstoke is a traditional Canadian mountain town with a history of mining and logging. More recently, backcountry skiers and snowboarders as well as outdoor enthusiasts have migrated to the town to take advantage of all the area has to offer. Old timers and new comers are equally friendly and you will be made to feel right at home. Revelstoke does not have as many bars, nightclubs and shops as some of the better know resorts, but it has plenty to keep most people entertained.
