Ski & Snowboard Instructor Courses | Whistler & Revelstoke

This is an example of the kit needed for our ski & snowboard courses. A full thorough kit list with be issued in your course information pack.

SKI & SNOWBOARD CLOTHING & EQUIPMENT

Skis/ Snowboard hardware: A freeride snowboard or all mountain skis are the best option as you will be riding in all types of terrain. Most manufacturers make an appropriate model.
Ski / Snowboard Boots: Ski/ Snowboard boots are the most important item. A badly fitted pair of boots can ruin your day.
Jacket: Waterproof/ windproof
Ski / Snowboard Trousers:
Warm Jumper/ Fleeces
Thermals: Buy good quality thermals.
Ski / Snowboard Socks
Gloves/ mittens: Ones with removable inners are useful as they are quicker to dry.
Scarf/ neck gaiter
Wool/ fleece beanie
Helmet: Not compulsory but we do advise wearing a helmet. They are necessary if you wish to sit the freestyle ski & snowboard exams and Snowboard level 2

Jeans/ t- shirts/ shirts/ jumpers/ sweatshirts: Enough to last a week or so Whistler & Revelstoke have a very casual dress code so really jeans with t shirts or shirts are the order of the day. Whatever you wear back home will be fine.
Trainers/ Boots
Underwear/ Socks
Swimming trunks/ bikini : swimming & hot tubs
Down jacket: Not necessary but a nice luxury
Sports Kit and trainers: If you want to use the gym
Towel & Wash Kit

Laptop Computer: If you do not have one, it is no problem as there are plenty of internet cafes.
