- Passport & Travel Documents
SKI & SNOWBOARD CLOTHING & EQUIPMENT
- Skis/ Snowboard hardware: A freeride snowboard or all mountain skis are the best option as you will be riding in all types of terrain. Most manufacturers make an appropriate model.
- Ski / Snowboard Boots: Ski/ Snowboard boots are the most important item. A badly fitted pair of boots can ruin your day.
- Jacket: Waterproof/ windproof
- Ski / Snowboard Trousers:
- Warm Jumper/ Fleeces
- Thermals: Buy good quality thermals.
- Ski / Snowboard Socks
- Gloves/ mittens: Ones with removable inners are useful as they are quicker to dry.
- Scarf/ neck gaiter
- Wool/ fleece beanie
- Helmet: Not compulsory but we do advise wearing a helmet. They are necessary if you wish to sit the freestyle ski & snowboard exams and Snowboard level 2
CLOTHING
- Jeans/ t- shirts/ shirts/ jumpers/ sweatshirts: Enough to last a week or so Whistler & Revelstoke have a very casual dress code so really jeans with t shirts or shirts are the order of the day. Whatever you wear back home will be fine.
- Trainers/ Boots
- Underwear/ Socks
- Swimming trunks/ bikini : swimming & hot tubs
- Down jacket: Not necessary but a nice luxury
- Sports Kit and trainers: If you want to use the gym
- Towel & Wash Kit
OTHER USEFUL ITEMS
- Laptop Computer: If you do not have one, it is no problem as there are plenty of internet cafes.
- Camera
- IPOD/ MP3
- Plug Adaptor
- Backpack/ Daysack
- Notepad
