6 Week Off-Piste Ski Course

17 February 2018 - 30 March 2018 31 March 2018 - 11 May 2018 16 February 2019 - 29 March 2019

Revolutionise your skiing while learning more about operating safely in the backcountry and exploring the mighty Coast Mountain Range.

The course begins with showing you around the ski area, looking at your technique and giving lots of feedback. We also do the Canadian Avalanche Skills Training level 1 soon after you arrive to give an initial insight into avalanche safety. After this we build up your technique and confidence on more challenging terrain as well as hitting the best terrain and hunting out powder whenever we can.

In the second half of the course, we do 4 days of ski touring, accessing the best backcountry terrain while we complete the CAA Avalanche Skills Level 2, a more advanced course in avalanche safety. We also include the ultimate ski experience – a day’s Heli Skiing! Whistler Heli skiing has over four thousand acres of pristine ski terrain and and you should enjoy some of the best powder skiing of your life.
